Laura journey in a girl in city begins when she starts working at a pizza shop. She will be promoted from janitor to delivery girl before she met an accident. After that Laura work in so many different places initially being hired as a clerk, then in a boutique as sale girl where she come across with her old class mate who help her and gets her a job in a popular fashion magazine. A male friend who is doctor by profession will be always with Laura along with some other characters in game.

A girl in the city is a kind of hidden object type game but with a different feature to have a look on items list about three to four items in almost every scene at a time. This is not it, you also have to find some more items as well but first you have to find these three four items and after that you can move on. Finding the hidden objects is not a difficult task because everything is static painted objects which make it easy to locate the hidden objects. Tom ado has passed through entire New York City leaving junk all around except furniture. Things gets clear as you find some items and challenges may become tough as you level up.

During your way to find hidden objects you will also come across many repetitive puzzles like swapping or rotation, matching symbol puzzles and the one in which player has to rearrange things to make an opinion in order to remove something from board. All these puzzles just require 2 to 3 seconds but you also have the option to skip puzzles when you want.

Time is the main factor as it is available in two game play modes. In time mode player has to locate hidden objects within the given time while in regular game play you can play by your own pace. Graphics of the game are very detailed with beautiful color combination and remarkable sound make this game more fascinating and appealing and kids will love to help Laura in her mission.
